OLIMPIC S 3000 AUTOMATIC HEAVY-DUTY EDGE BANDER
The S3000 Series of Edgebanders are designed for multiple shift operations. For the customer that demands the highest quality product in a highly competitive environment. Available in several standard compositions and/or custom made to order. Significantly heavier than any other machine in its class. Loaded with features that enable maximum efficiency and versatility.

- automatic edge bander for edging coils and in lippings

- Office P.C., 15in Flat Screen Monitor, WinEdge Software, Telesolve Software, processes statistical data, diagnostic data, production efficiency and program information. Available in English, Italian, Spanish, German and French. Standard on certain models, optional on others.
OPERATING UNITS AVAILABLE:
- "VC600/4" GLUEING GROUP, LOADING AND PRESSURE OF EDGE
made up of:
* quick heating glue pot (for thermo-melted glue):
* reverse function for the spreading roller (from the control panel) of its rotating direction to ensure the optimal gluing of solid wood lippings
* quick unlocking system for a rapid glue pot changing
* manual exclusion from the working line to enable set up runs or
processing without glue application
* internally teflon-coated to facilitate the glue substitution
* checking of temperature on the spreading roller and on the main glue pot
* automatic lowering of the temperature, to avoid over heating of the glue in case of temporary non-use of the machine
(particularly indicated for momentary interruption of production)
* spreading roller with device for adjustment of the quantity of glue applied
* loading of edges with automatic system for material in rolls or strips, which grants an immediate edge working change
* shear device for cutting of rolled edges, max. 3 mm
* coil-holder plate of large diameter
* pressure rollers with independent pneumatic adjustment and mechanical digital position indicator
The device includes:
- powered, frictioned and teflon-coated roller with large dimensions and timed intervention
- guide pressure cup for solid wood on the first pressure roller
- four idle rollers with timed intervention, of which two with counterposed
conicity

- "IN 600S" TOP END CUTTING UNIT
complete with two oscillating motors on the fulcrum and pneumatically controlled stroke.
It is equipped with front and rear copying devices.
Cutting adjustment on the motors.
Motors tilting on the horizontal axis up to 15 degrees
Automatic exclusion of the end cutting unit when motors are not in
operation.
It is supplied with 2 blades, 150 mm diameter
- "RSP" IN-LINE TRIMMING UNIT
with two high frequency motors for the rough-trimming of the applied edge with the following features:
* vertical copying device with large diameter rotating disk having
ground contact surfaces to ensure the best working precision
* device for the rapid removal of cutters
* rapid manual exclusion from the working line without changing its
setting
* pair of cutters included
- "ROUND SK" ROUNDING UNIT
It allows the automatic rounding of the applied edge angles without
stopping the workpiece. It allows the rounding using 3 mm PVC/ABS and thin edges applied on straight sides of post/soft formed panels
The rounding operation takes place in one single pass (each side)
without no manual intervention. The unit, as standard feature, can operate also as top and bottom trimming unit.

The unit is complete with:
- two high frequency motors
- front and vertical copying devices having ground contact surfaces
to ensure the best working precision
- the unit movements are quick and precise thanks to the sliding on a prismatic guideways and recirculating set of spheres
- pneumatic exclusion device from control panel (standard feature)

This is mounted on a robust column anchored to the machine base.
