Portable circular saw FSG 240 K
Laminated beams up to 9 5/8 in. (245 mm) thick can be square-edged in a single cut, without overturning, with the FSG 240 K. For this purpose it is recommended to use the special TCT blade. The cutting depth of 9 5/8 in. (245 mm) of the FSG 240 K is sufficient for all normal sized laminated beams. And you can rely on the 5.8 hp (4350 W) motor
doing a consistently first-class job with all kinds of cutting operations straight or tilted up to 48 degrees. Long handles and a large base plate enable a safe handling of the machine and clean cuts. The machine can also be run along a guide rail available as optional accessory. Standard equipment includes a special chrome vanadium
steel briar-toothed saw blade with a diameter of 25 3/16 in. (640 mm).
Built-in thermal overload protection. Practical benefits derived from expertise: the adjustable chip protection slide affords an unobstructed view of the marking and keeps the chips away from the operator.
Of course, the FSG 240 K has a hose connector for attaching it to a vacuum unit. The new star-delta switch with integral electronic motor brake completes the picture of an ultra-modern carpentry machine that is especially easy to handle despite its size and power.
