3 - CONTENT OF THE SUPPLY
a) KILN EQUIPMENT
Supporting structure: The perimeter carrying structure is completely made of special alloy
aluminum extruded profiles, which have high resistance to corrosion.
Some other components are in stainless-steel. All columns, front
beams, roof holding structure, fan holding beams, bottom beams,
windbracing are of corrosion resistant aluminum meeting the
international standards and allowing an easy-assembly of the
elements. The fans are built into aluminum beams which are
constructed with our special aluminum profiles, including
intermediate aluminum enclosures to avoid short-circuiting of the air.
The aluminum profiles are made to our own exclusive patented
design. Used aluminium alloy: Al Mg 0,5 Si 0,4 Fe nach UNI 6060
T6.
Insulation system, Secea s
patent EUREKA:
The thermal insulation is made by means of the following material:
aluminum and high density glass-wool, with 100 mm thickness, in
order to achieve the max. insulation and energy saving. The mineral
fiber is stuck to the aluminum walls and perfectly supported by a
special aluminum frame, which makes the panels self bearing and
modular, allowing an easy and quick assembly. The panels are
fastened by means of rugged aluminum claws. The construction of
such panels, totally new, allows to achieve a very good thermal cut,
which decreases the heat losses to much smaller values than the usual
panels. The panels are sealed by special silicon gaskets, housed along
the panel frame, resistant to high temperatures and to the corrosive
tannin acid. K-value: 32. The above modular self bearing panels and
the walls resulting from their coupling are an exclusive insulation
system, that only Secea can offer and is covered by patent all over
the world. Used aluminium alloy: UNI EN 9005/1, DIN 3.0505, Al
Mn 0,5 Mg 0,5.

Ventilation: Reversible air circulation produced by high efficiency aluminum
axial fans equipped with wing-shaped blades, reversible type.
The fans can perform the same efficiency and capacity in both
rotating directions (left and right) and at any revolution rate. The fan
blades shape is perfectly symmetrical. They guarantee the best
quality dried timber with the lowest energy consumption. The blades
are made by die casting in a special aluminum and silica alloy, that
guarantees the highest resistance at the most critical environment
conditions. The electrical motor is tropically insulated to resist high
temperatures, IP 55 protection level, class H to work free of
problems in environments reaching 100 % relative moisture, and is
equipped with proper bearings and cables to resist high temperatures.
We use Leroy Somer fans.
Variable speed drive: Multi-Inverter-System for fans speed control by means of variable
frequency inverter for each single motor. Inverters, with capacity
suitable to motors, will be installed for each fan inside the control
board. Any inverter is provided of EC mark with steel case, AC
three-phase reactances and other reliable design solutions enabling
you to protect from inlet electromagnetic noises and low outlet
emission. The most innovative possibilities of vectorial control at
open loop (there is no feedback) , speed ASIC circuit and current
measure in the three outlet phases are the basis of an excellent
dynamic motors control. We use ALLEN BRADLEY, Rockwell
Automation.
Heating system: All heating coils are in stainless-steel with aluminum fins.
They guarantee a high thermal exchange and guarantee a very good
corrosion resistance for years of use.
The delivery includes the heating fluid control valve.
5/7
Vents: Made in aluminum. The regulation throttle valve is made of
aluminum and, thanks to a suitable silicon seal, assures a very low
heat loss, when it is in the OFF position. Suitable self lubricating
bushings ensure years of regular and maintenance free operation. The
throttle valves are proportionally operated by servomotors that drive
the opening and closing in order to regulate the climatic condition
into the kiln and getting a max energy saving . Vents are placed on
the front and rear walls.
Low pressure Humidifying
system matched with HIGH
PERFORMANCE
HUMIDIFICATION
SYSTEM BY JET FOG
Special Humidification System averaging 25-30 microns water
particles, assuring the most homogeneous timber humidification, thus
reducing the initial conditioning phase. This system is suitable for
operation with low pressure cold water.
The fogging fan, (3/4HP) provides the best quality of fog and can
propel its fog up to 9 meters. It has a maximum fog output of 90
LT/H, but is fully adjustable even down to the lowest fogging levels.
This system will be built in together with standard low pressure
sprayers, using nozzles for up to 5 bar pressure water.
In kiln model JET 76.70.41 two units will be installed.
In kiln model JET 46.70.41 one unit will be installed.
Intermediate ceiling: Intermediate ceiling made of corrugated aluminum plates, fixed to
the ceiling by means of long aluminum profiles and stainless-steel
screws.
Sloped roof: Insulated by the above described patented panels. The covering is
made of corrugated aluminum sheets. Suitable spacers are applied in
order to create a slight slope permitting rain water to flow to the
gutters water spouts, placed on the rear side of the kiln.
Upper air baffles: Suitable rubber flaps, resistant to high temperatures, are installed in
the middle of intermediate ceiling beam in order to close the gap
between the timber and the intermediate ceiling thus allowing the
most efficient air flow. The flaps are not equipped with manual
adjust system.
Sliding Door: As for all the other profiles of the cell, the doors are also made with
special aluminum structure.
The ribbing systems and the joints allow the lodging of the neoprenedutral
gaskets, which are fit to withstand a temperature over 100° C°,
assuring a perfect sealing.
The insulation is realized by panels as per above description.
It is a sliding door.
One special translator cart, built with strong steel profiles provides
for the lifting and the moving of the front door along the hanging rail.
The system is realized with a mechanical gear and a special device
that provides for the closing and the support of the door.
Inspection door: Inspection door is made of aluminum panels as above described.
The door includes an anti-panic opening system (internal-external),
that permits to inspect the cell during operation.
6/7
Electric board: It s a modular Panel made to international standards (IP 54) . It
controls the operation of all drying organs: fans, control valves,
ventilation and spraying system. complete with counters, timers,
on/off switches, warning lamps, overload protections and fusing.
ALADIN XP
PROFESSIONAL DRY
automatic control unit:
Automatic control system with industry PC and 5 touch screen.
The touch screen allows a direct control thanks to a graphic software
which is user friendly and highly intuitive, able to offer the
following advantages:
- real time prompt visualisation of the data, of the real and set
values and of their curves.
- real time selection among all parameters and programs
- quick and from the display guided program installation
- language selection directly from display
The communication among the various parts of the control is based
on the various protocol of communication, either through the line
Ethernet (with protocol TCP-IP and UDP-IP) or through the line
RS485 with protocol S-BUS, MODBUS, PROFIBUS DP, LON
WORKS). This allows a wide flexibility as well as the integration of
many different needs and of the future updating as far as the
Building Automation is concerned.
The PLC is equipped with 2 electronic cards, which can be further
extended to 4. It is also possible, when specifically required, to install
a further PLC equipped with 16 cards. For any future need, the
system can be integrated with other cards, which can be directly
connected to the communication line.
Whenever required, it is possible to control the drying process
directly from the screen, as well as having any anomaly pointed out.
The diagram of the specific actuators, in particular of the different
sensors (opening of the valves, opening of the chimneys, fans use
percentage, spraying..), and of the quantities measured (temperature,
gradient, UGL, ) can be directly controlled on the touch screen .
All these parameters can be either transferred to a PC and shown
with a Scada software, or can be recorded on a CF card and analyzed
by a remote PC. The touch screen is equipped with a port for printer
and a port for the bar code reader.
When programming the drying cycle, this can be divided into 20
phases: all freely programmable. For any phase, the following
parameters can be shown: air speed, water temperature, hot water
volume, electric power used, inverter functioning according to the
climatic conditions within the cell.
