The saw is driven by a high powered, quiet 3hp single phase induction motor that will run reliably, day in and day out in small workshops. The saw has a large abrasion-proof cast iron table, precision ground and polished, which offers minimal friction. This ensures smooth and safe workpiece passage. The grey iron castings absorb and dampen vibration.

The table has two machined slots either side of the blade for making complex angle cuts either way with the mitre fence.
The full length micro-adjustable rip fence slides freely along its graduated rail and locks rigidly at both ends with a cam action lever clamp. Two well positioned hand wheels allow for exact blade height & tilt adjustment.
