Alfa guard for circular saws to be fitted upon riving-knife
Made of polycarbonate, is adapted for every type of circular saw fitting blades with a max. diameter 300mm.
This protection hood is provided with a suction pipe outlet of 60mm. A workpiece pusher serially supplied with the guard facilitates the machining of small diemnsioned workpieces. A match-mark provided on hood front part indicates the cutting line.
The peculiar shape of its front part alllows the guard to move up when introducing workpiece beneath it, recovering thus eventual differences, even significant, due to an incorrect adjustment of the hood itself. A lever will lock hood in the position desired. This protection hood can be fitted on the riving-knife in two different positions according to blade diameter: 250mm and 300mm.
