The slot mortiser model MOD makes slots and holes for tenons, it is particularly suitable for the manufacturing of chairs, tables, and solid wood components.
The sturdy construction and the use of high quality raw-materials and components make the model MOD a very reliable machine. The two working tables move alternatively towards the tool thus allowing the operator to replace the piece of wood already machined while the other piece is being worked. This system eliminates all idle times and allows the control of the machine by one operator only.
The oscillation movement and revolution of the bits are controlled by two separate motors. The speed of the oscillation movement is adjustable by the operator thus allowing the best possible cut at all times, according to the quality of the wood and dimensions of the slots.
A simple pushbutton stops the oscillation movement: the machine will be then able to perform as a boring machine.
The two worktables are adjustable in height and depth independently one to the other. Further, they are tiltable up to 25°. The forward speed of the tables is hydraulically controlled and adjustable in order to have a constant and smooth movement. The return speed is automatically made at high speed.
The simplicity of all adjustments and their easily accessible position makes the model MDO a machine with adjustment times reduced to the minimum.
