OLIMPIC K208 COMPACT SINGLE SIDED AUTOMATIC EDGE BANDER
GENERAL FEATURES:
Base structure made of high rigidity tubular steel to guarantee an excellent support for the operating groups and the guides of the feed.
Mobile control panel.
PANEL MOVEMENT SYSTEM:
- feed track made of pads coated with high friction rubber fixed on an
industrial chain
- Sliding on two steel guideways, one round and one flat, to ensure
straightness of movement and resistance to side loads
- top steel presser complete with two rows of rubber coated wheels fixed
on bearings for a smooth linear movement of the workpiece and its
perfect clamping
- manual adjustment of top presser with automatic positioning of the
operating groups according to the panel thickness
- mechanical digital indicator of the selected panel thickness

OPERATING GROUPS
RM-K INFEED PANEL EDGE TRIMMING UNIT
(only for compositions which have the "T" identification letter) positioned before the gluing unit to trim the panel edge and therefore obtain a perfect uniform surface. It is equipped with a high speed motor which drives 2 tool-holders spindles . Motor operation is timed to prevent chipping on the panel. The unit is complete with the "SOFT-START" electronic system which ensure an optimal, fast and efficient motor start in any working condition.
The trimming operation takes place when a part of the infeed fence is removed. The removal is carried out by means of a fast exclusion system. Accurate and precise panel trimming thanks to copying pads system, maintaining unchanged the panel geometry.
The unit is complete with a pair of brazewelded cutters. As those cutters are not ment for an intensive use, it is advisable to equip the unit with diamond cutters.
GLUE POT UNIT, EDGE LOADING AND PRESSING SYSTEM:
Hot melt glue pot internally teflon-coated to allow an easy and quick
glue replacement
- glue spreading roller with heating element for a perfect control of the
temperature of the applied glue
- device for the automatic recovery of unused glue and possibility of fast
exclusion of the glue pot to enable set up runs or processing without
glue application
- digital thermostat to control the temperature on glue spreading roller
- automatic lowering of the glue pot temperature after a temporary non-use
of the machine
- automatic edge loading system for strips and rolled edges with shear
device for rolled edges with maximum thickness of 3 mm
It includes coil holder plate with 520 mm diameter for A, C compositions and
750 mm diameter for E, F, ER, ERT-L compositions
- three edge pressure rollers with pneumatic independent adjustment the
first roller is powered and with clutch unit, the second and the
third have counterposed conicity to guarantee a perfect adhesion to the
applied edge.

END CUTTING UNIT with two independent high frequency motors to cut the front and rear exceeding edge.
Tiltable motors with manual adjustment from 0 to 15 degrees without utilizing any type of spanner.
It is possible to end cut also soft/post formed panels.
High precision and reliable end cutting unit thanks to the sliding of the
two motors on prismatic guideways and linear sliding pads with preloaded
recirculating balls.
Each operating motor is equipped with copying device for an accurate positioning of blades in relation to the cutting point.

with two high frequency motors:
- tiltable unit for the trimming/chamfering of the top and bottom
exceeding edge.

of cutters with reference to the cutting point
- easy and quick adjustments and set up by means of:
* vertical and horizontal mechanical and digital indicators of the
positioning
* electrical and mechanical device for the quick removal of motors
* device for the quick removal of cutters
* quick manual exclusion of the unit from the working line without
changing its setting
* pair of brazewelded straight cutters or R=3mm included, according to the
compositions chosen.
On the "ER" composition, when the option "kit for top and bottom trimming
function on ROUND K" is included, only straight cutters are supplied.
When this option is NOT INCLUDED the unit is equipped with R=3 mm
Radius cutters + an extra set of spare straight cutters.
