SCM FS520 CLASS Planer Thicknesser
A high performance combined planer and thicknessing machine. The combined form factor allows you to operate in areas where space is limited without having to give up the high performance levels and high quality finishes associated with single-function machines.
The easy-to-use worktable lifting system, can be servo - assisted (on request) for FS 520, combined with the high-quality standard technical specification (large cast iron surfacer and reliable drive system) mean that there are none of the compromises usually involved when you choose a combined machine.
The machine features counter balanced tables, with digital read out to give 0.1 mm resolution.
SCM exclusively use aged cast iron tables with heavy ribbing. The tables are finished to the highest tolerances, this ensures maximum strength and ergonomics.
Easy and rapid Changeover:
from planer to thicknesser in a matter of seconds. Rapid and precise simultaneous surfacing tables raising. An exclusive system automatically positions the chip guard. Optional servo asssistance for the easiest solution.
Feed system:
Reliability and efficiency are combined: - The motorized large diameter serrated infeed rollers, together with the rubbercoated
outfeed roller, guarantee efficient and constant feed with all
types of wood.
