Designed to cut all types of tenons, with up to 3 composite angles on straight or curved wooden rails without use of templates. The tenon obtained is of the round and bevelled type to permit an easy, yet secure, mating in mortises cut on Mortisers with oscillating bits. The machine is equipped with two tables which can be independently adjusted for both height and tilt. On every other twin-table tenoning machine the tables are always mounted on a slide. But on the TAO the tables are stationary and the tool moves back and forth from one table to the other. This cycle completely eliminates idle times: the operator can load the workpiece on one table while a tenon is being cut on the other. Since the workpiece does not move, thanks to the stationary tables the TAO is particularly suitable for cutting tenons on long parts, The stationary tables assure tenoning results of the highest precision. the machine can obtain perfect shoulders on both work-tables, even on particularly difficult woods.
