1.0 General description of basic machine BP155
1.1 Basic machine:
WEEKE is guarantee and quality for high performance.
The WEEKE Processing Centre is manufactured with the highest technology by means of production for
the high quality demand in the industry and craft shop.
The robust and torsion resistant machine frame and cantilever support are welded with special ribs inside
the hollow frame to ensure an additional stability. Due to the high weight of the machine base frame,
the vibrations during routing procedures are abducted optimum. The machining support in X-direction
is arranged on the machine base frame and the cross-support in Y- and Z- direction is arranged vertically
to the cantilever arm. The main spindle
vertical and horizontal boring units are located at the cross-support as well as a free space for later
installation of one grooving-saw or one routing unit.

Guiding system:
The movement of all axes via a dust protected linear guiding system.
Digital drive system:
The positioning ofthe axis X and Y via tolerance free rack and pinion and the Z-axis via tolerance free
ball bearing spindle. The movement dynamic is a result of the high resolution capability of the digital
AC-servo motors.
Workpiece clamping system:
Support bars with an integrated vacuum clamping system to take all kinds of different materials with .
