1402 MFE PVC Edge Banding Machine, designed for applying
HOlZ-HER
developed an edge bander that is perfectly suited
for complex applications but compact - no longer than 3.94 m:the TRIM 1402 MFE PVC model.
This model is the right choice for finish-processing edges and accepts coiled edging up to 3 mm thick.
Precision machining of a wide range of profiles The profile cutter unit is suitable for producing a wide range of shapes. It machines the vertical front and rear edges of the workpiece, as well asthe top and lower corners, or their profiles, in one single operation. There is no need for any time consuming manual re-working.
Short construction through multi-functional application
Flush end trimming of the first two edgestakes place at
the tool run-out of the profile cutter. For the third and fourth edges, the unit plunges pneumatically.
Finally, the radius of 3 mm is copy-cut at the corners.
The advantages of SPC
The TRIM 1402 MFE PVC model incorporates the electronic machine control (SPC =Stored Program Control) found in the larger ranges. This allows direct selection of individual units .
Frequently used machining operations can be pre-pro grammed and then activated with a few commands.
Operating data acquisition is standard and allows precise recaIculations. The equipment used ensures maximum functionality
 All data or input is plain text at eye level on the swivel operating panel.
 The centrally adjustable pressure bridge ensures precision guidance of the workpieces.
 The noise protection hood is lined with a special emission reducing material, which makesthe TRIM 1402 MFE PVC whisper silent.
The HOLZ·HER cartridge system:
This provides the practical and universal solution for processing EVAand PU glue types. A change of cartridge also means a change of glue - easy, fast and dean, without any need fo r additional equipment.
 Extremely short heating -up times help to save energy.
 Only the amount of glue required is melted off and the glue cannot burn. A white glue in the cartridge will still be white on the edge.
 High flexibility: Easy glue and colour change in only a few minutes .
A tracing nozzle is available as an option, This guarantees
precise glue application, even on fairly uneven surfaces.
Pressure unit:
Two rollers ensure a strong even pressure on the material.
Multifunction unit
1942 M:
For flush, radius and chamfer trimming. Horizontal and vertical tracing. Tilt up to 15 degrees.
Scraper unit
To even out small surface irregularities.
Profile cutter unit 1983:
Forflush end tr imming of the first two edging projections.
Copies almost all end grain profile shapes.
Buffer unit 1940:
With two 150mm dia.buffing wheels for buffing plastic edges.
